Types of Motor Starters



- *Direct On Line (DOL) Starter*: Simple, connects motor directly to power.
- *Star-Delta Starter*: Reduces starting current by switching from star to delta.
- *Soft Starter*: Gradually increases voltage for smooth start.
- *Auto Transformer Starter*: Uses auto-transformer to reduce starting voltage.
- *Rotor Resistance Starter*: Adds resistance in rotor circuit for slip ring motors.
- *VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)*: Controls speed and start/stop smoothly.
