Ceiling fan connection with dimmer, switch and capacitor (220V AC

shows the electrical installation of a ceiling fan powered by 220V AC. Phase (L) passes first through a switch and then through a dimmer/speed regulator, which allows you to control the fan speed. 






From there, the current reaches the fan through a 3-way connector. The capacitor is connected to the fan to help start and run the engine efficiently. Neutral (N) goes directly to the fan completing the circuit. This system allows you to turn on/off and adjust the fan speed safely.
