Sampling process

The process of converting an analog signal into a Discrete signal or making an analog signal to occur at particular interval of time is known as sampling.

Type of sampling Theorem

a) ideal sampling

b) Natural sampling

c) Flat tap sampling

A continuous time signal may be completely represent in its samples and recovered back if the sampling frequency is greater than 2fm

Where,

      Fs-is the sampling frequency
      Fm-is the maximum frequency

A band Limited signal frequency at.

Sampling of the signal is the fundamental operation in the signal processing.

A continues time signal is first converted  into discrete time signal sampling process.
